AWARDS AND HONORS:

  • 2012-13 – Awarded by the American Association of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery.
  • 2014 – Award of the International Society of Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT – The Society of Medical Innovation and Technology) for the creation of the best medical technology for the treatment of type II diabetes.
  • li>He was the first in Israel to use a robot in general surgery. Regularly performs surgeries to remove the gallbladder using an improved technique – through one puncture.
